Beschrijving
De AT89C2051 is een low-voltage, high-performance CMOS 8-bit microcomputer met 2K Bytes Flash programmeerbaar en uitwisbaar read only memory (PEROM).Het apparaat is vervaardigd met behulp van Atmel's niet-vluchtige geheugentechnologie met hoge dichtheid en is compatibel met de industriestandaard MCS-51™-instructieset.Door een veelzijdige 8-bits CPU te combineren met Flash op een monolithische chip, is de Atmel AT89C2051 een krachtige microcomputer die een zeer flexibele en kosteneffectieve oplossing biedt voor veel ingebedde besturingstoepassingen.De AT89C2051 biedt de volgende standaardfuncties: 2K bytes Flash, 128 bytes RAM, 15 I/O-lijnen, twee 16-bits timer/tellers, een interruptarchitectuur met vijf vectoren en twee niveaus, een full-duplex seriële poort, een precisie-analoog comparator, on-chip oscillator en klokcircuits.Bovendien is de AT89C2051 ontworpen met statische logica voor werking tot nulfrequentie en ondersteunt hij twee softwarematig selecteerbare energiebesparende modi.De inactieve modus stopt de CPU terwijl het RAM, de timer/tellers, de seriële poort en het interruptsysteem blijven functioneren.De Power Down-modus slaat de RAM-inhoud op, maar bevriest de oscillator en schakelt alle andere chipfuncties uit tot de volgende hardware-reset.
